Arizona Form A-4.  Make sure to complete a new one each year.  This is now required to be completed every year.  Federal W-4 is also required to be completed every year.
 
Popular tax breaks that ended 2017
 
  Expired at the end of  12/31/17 - Congress has not yet extended these provisions
   Cancellation of Home Mortgage Debt (up to $2 million)
   Qualified Mortgage Insurance Premiums treatment as mortgage interest
   Tuition and fees deduction of up to $4,000 (above the line)
   $500.00 tax credit for investment on energy efficiency expenditures
   Mortgage Insurance Premium deduction 
   Residential Energy efficient property (except Solar which expires at the end of 2019) 
    
Social Security wage base increases to $127,200.00 for 2017.
 
Social Security Earnings.  Seniors who are 62 but not 66 yet and decide to collect SS  can earn up to $16,920 this year before they lose any benefits. For every $2.00 earned over limitation they will deduct $1.00 in benefits.
